DVD Editorial Review
The Equalizer: The Complete Collection showcases the gripping narratives led by Edward Woodward, whose portrayal of a retired CIA operative assisting those in trouble resonates with audiences. The series features compelling guest stars, including Jennifer Grey and Kevin Spacey, creating a memorable viewing experience. Additionally, the show navigates significant social themes from the 1980s, allowing viewers to reflect on issues like spousal abuse and societal bigotry. While some episodes may have a preachy tone or bland background music, the standout storytelling and strong performances make this collection a worthwhile addition for fans of classic television.
