One customer noticed that the clip that holds the badge loop to the retractor cord swivel becomes bent and falls off over time so they replaced it with a 1/2 inch diameter split key ring. The retractor is not strong enough to remain retracted when walking when more than two pin tumbler brass keys and a tubular key along with a proximity card photo ID badge are worn. Another complaint is that the 0.5-inch lanyard is not long enough to wear crossbody and isn't strong enough to hold the weight of a stainless steel water bottle. The reel and lanyard last for a few months with Constant use in an environment where they can get caught on stuff. The product is made in China and costs an affordable price.
