The product is confirmed to work as per the FAQ section. The starter kit comes with a start-finish line section, but it's not mandatory and can be avoided for users who do not want it. It can be a little finicky to assemble the track, though, so some customers prefer racing cars on hardwood floors, which, in their opinion, provide a bigger and faster area to race on. The product may work on carpets, but it runs slowly and picks up small lint fibers in wheels that make it challenging to keep the cars clean. Therefore, some customers prefer to keep cars either on hardwood floors or on the track itself. It comes with two vehicles, but additional ones can be purchased. The product may be compatible with other racing tracks, although one customer said they use their RFX transmitter to run their hot wheels car. Though there are instructions, one may have to refer to the app or internet as there is no physical manual included. The product is comparatively cheaper, but there is no mention of quality issues.
