Questions et réponses des clients
-
question:
What are the dimensions of the Lamoutor Bird Water Feeder?
répondre: The Lamoutor Bird Water Feeder has dimensions that make it compact and suitable for various birdcage sizes. Typically, each feeder measures approximately 5.5 inches in height and 2.5 inches in width, making it a convenient option for providing fresh water to your birds without taking up excessive space. This size ensures that it can fit alongside other bird accessories, allowing you to create a comfortable living environment for your pets. -
question:
How do I install the Lamoutor Bird Water Feeder?
répondre: Installing the Lamoutor Bird Water Feeder is straightforward. Simply clip it onto the side of your birdcage using the attached clips. The design is user-friendly, allowing for quick adjustments to ensure the feeder is at an appropriate height for your birds. This means you can easily provide water access while keeping the feeder secure, making it ideal for active birds like parrots and budgies. -
question:
Is the material used in the Lamoutor Bird Water Feeder safe for birds?
répondre: Yes, the Lamoutor Bird Water Feeder is made from non-toxic, durable plastic that is safe for all types of birds, including parrots, budgies, and cockatiels. This choice of material prevents leaching of harmful chemicals and ensures your birds stay healthy while using it. The bright color and design may also attract your birds, encouraging them to hydrate more frequently. -
question:
Can I use the Lamoutor Bird Water Feeder for dry food as well?
répondre: While the Lamoutor Bird Water Feeder is primarily designed for water, its versatile design means you could technically use it for dry food if needed. However, it is optimized for liquid, and using it for dry food might result in food getting stuck or not dispensing properly. If you're looking to provide both food and water, it's best to use dedicated feeders for each purpose to ensure cleanliness and ease of access. -
question:
How many feeders come in a set of Lamoutor Bird Water Feeders?
répondre: Each set of Lamoutor Bird Water Feeders includes four individual feeders. This variety allows you to place them in multiple locations within your birdcage or provide water for different birds at the same time. Having multiple feeders is especially beneficial if you have a variety of birds, as it can help reduce competition for water access. -
question:
What types of birds are compatible with the Lamoutor Bird Water Feeder?
répondre: The Lamoutor Bird Water Feeder is suitable for a range of small to medium-sized birds, including parrots, budgies, lovebirds, and cockatiels. Its design caters to the drinking habits of these birds, promoting hydration without spillage. By ensuring that your pet can easily access fresh water, you can help maintain their health and well-being. -
question:
How often should I clean the Lamoutor Bird Water Feeder?
répondre: It's best to clean the Lamoutor Bird Water Feeder regularly to prevent algae growth and bacteria buildup. Ideally, you should rinse and wash the feeder with warm, soapy water every few days, especially if you notice any residue. Keeping the feeder clean ensures your birds have access to fresh and safe water, enhancing their hydration and overall health. -
question:
Does this feeder accommodate larger birds?
répondre: The Lamoutor Bird Water Feeder is primarily designed for small to medium-sized birds. While larger birds may be able to use it, they might prefer a larger or more robust feeder that provides easier access. If you own larger birds, it might be prudent to consider feeders specifically designed to suit their size and drinking behavior for optimal use. -
question:
Are the clips strong enough to hold the feeder securely?
répondre: Yes, the clips of the Lamoutor Bird Water Feeder are designed to be strong and secure, ensuring that the feeder stays attached to the cage without falling. They hold the feeder firmly in place, allowing your birds to drink freely without the risk of it tipping over. This stability is essential in an active environment where birds might jump or play around their cage. -

Lamoutor Feeders Editorial Review
The Lamoutor 4Pcs Bird Water Feeder is a collection of plastic drinker feeders that clip onto your bird's cage, perfect for parrots, budgie, cockatiel, lovebirds, and other small birds. The product's long-stem design allows it to be used with any cage or carrier, and it does not leak. While it is marketed as a water feeder, some customers have used it for feeding super fine pellets or seeds. Some have found it easy to use for this purpose, while others have stated that the feeding mouth is small and difficult to clean. Unfortunately, the product's feedback is mixed. Some customers have found that the clips do not hold up well and that the feeder slips off the cage. Additionally, the feeder bottoms can come off quickly, making it easy for food or water to become wasted on the floor of the cage. Some customers have also stated that the plastic is too soft and easily destroyed by even the smallest of birds. Overall, the Lamoutor 4Pcs Bird Water Feeder may work for some customers with smaller birds, but others may find it too flimsy or difficult to use.
