DESCRIPTION DU PRODUIT
ARP 2084702 Head Stud Kit for Honda S2000
About This Item
Experience maximum performance and reliability with the ARP 208-4702 Head Stud Kit. Specifically designed for the (00 and up) Honda S2000, this kit is essential for achieving the optimum cylinder head-to-block sealing, especially in small displacement engines with high compression pistons or power adders like turbochargers, nitrous oxide, and superchargers. ARP head studs have gained popularity among leading Sport Compact/Import racers for good reason. Made from a premium grade 8740 alloy, these studs are far superior to aircraft quality.
Each stud is precisely heat-treated to an impressive 200,000 psi, ensuring exceptional strength and durability. What sets ARP apart from the competition is their meticulous manufacturing process. After heat-treating, each stud undergoes centerless grinding to make it as close to perfectly concentric as possible. This rigorous procedure involves multiple cuts, resulting in an exceptionally straight part.
In contrast, lesser-quality studs are not centerless ground and are merely thread rolled in bar stock form. The exacting tolerances of ARP studs offer numerous advantages. Gaskets and cylinder heads effortlessly glide into position and are perfectly aligned, something that won't happen with inferior head studs. ARP studs also feature thread rolling after heat-treat, giving them approximately 1000% better fatigue strength compared to studs threaded prior to heat-treat.
This remarkable strength ensures long-lasting performance under demanding conditions. Additionally, ARP offers specially undercut studs for several engines, including this kit. This innovative design equalizes the stretch of both studs, resulting in a more consistent clamping force. This compensates for head gasket compression when the head is installed, minimizing the risk of blown head gaskets and ensuring optimum sealing. Invest in the ARP 208-4702 Head Stud Kit and experience the difference that superior construction and precision engineering can make.
Upgrade to these high-performance studs and enjoy peace of mind knowing that your engine is equipped with the best. Don't settle for anything less than ARP's renowned quality and reliability. Trust ARP to deliver the performance you demand. Keywords: ARP 208-4702 Head Stud Kit, ARP Head Stud Kit, Head Stud Kit, ARP Head Stud, 208-4702 Head Stud Kit, ARP 208-4702, Head Stud, ARP Head.
