Outset Roasting Pans Q117 Editorial Review

The Outset Non-Stick Jalapeno Roaster has generally received mixed reviews from customers emphasizing both its craftsmanship and shortcomings in design. While users commend its sturdy Construction and ease of cleaning, they also point out a significant design flaw regarding the size of the holes for jalapeño peppers. According to several reviews, the holes are too small for the standard-sized jalapeños available at most markets, leading to frustrations as the peppers fall over during the cooking process. This has caused difficulties, as thinner jalapeños are not only harder to stuff but can also compromise the cooking experience. Some reviewers appreciate the roaster's aesthetic appeal and find it a staple in their kitchen, suggesting it performs well once the pepper size issue is addressed. Additionally, the folding legs feature allows for convenient storage, although the lack of locking mechanism raises safety concerns while loading the unit. Overall, while the roaster is praised for its quality and affordability, potential buyers should be aware of the challenges related to the size compatibility of jalapeños. **
