Questions et réponses des clients
-
question:
What are the dimensions of the OXO Brew Stainless Steel French Press Coffee Maker?
répondre: The OXO Brew Stainless Steel French Press Coffee Maker has a height of 8 inches and a diameter of 4.5 inches. This compact size makes it easy to store in your kitchen cabinets or keep on your countertop. Its design is not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional, fitting perfectly alongside other kitchen appliances. It's ideal for brewing up to 8 cups of coffee, making it suitable for both personal use and gatherings. -
question:
How does the OXO Brew French Press ensure optimal coffee extraction?
répondre: The OXO Brew French Press features an integrated mesh filter that allows for the rich extraction of coffee oils and flavors while minimizing sediment in your brew. The filter is designed to create the perfect balance between flow rate and ease of pressing. When combined with the brewing time, this ensures that your coffee has a full-bodied richness. It's perfect for coffee enthusiasts who enjoy experimenting with different grind sizes and brew times to discover their ideal cup of coffee. -
question:
Is the stainless steel material of the French press durable?
répondre: Yes, the stainless steel construction of the OXO Brew French Press is both durable and resistant to rust and corrosion. Stainless steel not only provides a sleek and modern look, but it also effectively retains heat, allowing your coffee to stay warm longer. This durability makes it a reliable choice for daily use, whether you’re brewing at home or bringing it along for camping or outdoor adventures. -
question:
Can the OXO Brew French Press make cold brew coffee?
répondre: Absolutely! The OXO Brew French Press can be used to make cold brew coffee. Simply coarsely grind your coffee beans, combine them with cold water, and let it steep in the refrigerator for 12-24 hours. Once steeped, press the plunger down, and you’ll have a smooth, flavorful cold brew ready to serve. This versatility is perfect for those hot summer days or for enjoying a refreshing coffee drink anytime. -
question:
Is the OXO Brew French Press dishwasher safe?
répondre: Yes, the OXO Brew French Press is dishwasher safe, making clean-up a breeze. The stainless steel body can be placed in the dishwasher alongside the mesh filter, allowing you to spend more time enjoying your coffee rather than cleaning up after brewing. However, hand washing is also an option, especially for the filter, if you prefer to ensure its longevity and maintain its performance. -
question:
How does the plunger mechanism work?
répondre: The OXO Brew French Press incorporates a patented brewing system that features a precision plunger mechanism. The plunger effectively separates the coffee grounds from the brewed coffee without excessive pressure, resulting in a smoother and less bitter drink. This mechanism is particularly beneficial for users who enjoy optimal flavor extraction without the fuss, ensuring that every cup is brewed to perfection. -
question:
What is the best grind size for coffee in the OXO Brew French Press?
répondre: For the OXO Brew French Press, a coarse grind is recommended to achieve the best flavor extraction. Finer grinds can lead to over-extraction and bitterness. A coarse grind size allows for a balanced brew, ensuring that the flavors are released without clouding the coffee with sediment. Experimenting with different coarseness levels can help you discover your preferred taste profile and strength. -
question:
Can I use the French press for tea as well?
répondre: Yes, the OXO Brew French Press is versatile enough to brew tea in addition to coffee. Simply add loose-leaf tea or a tea bag to the press, pour in hot water, and steep to your desired strength. Once brewed, use the plunger to separate the tea leaves from the liquid. This dual functionality makes it an excellent addition to your kitchen whether you’re a tea lover or a coffee aficionado. -
question:

répondre: The OXO Brew French Press stands out due to its innovative design and user-friendly features, such as the built-in scale and timer.
