RRigo's Hand Operated Yarn Winder is an affordable option for knitters and crocheters who are looking for an organising and space-saving tool. Some customers found the winder very easy and fast to use, and felt that it made the process of winding yarn more enjoyable. However, other customers felt that the workmanship was shoddy and the plastic was cheap. They reported issues with the clamp screw, cone, and metal guide. The machine worked well with some yarns, but other yarns got stuck in the gear or in the eye during winding and flew off the spool. Some other spool cakes came unraveled almost immediately. Although the winder works well with some yarns, generally, it is a garbage toy, and it is better and faster to roll yarn by hand.
