Questions et réponses des clients

  • question: What is the purpose of this keystone coupler?

répondre: To connect two Cat6A RJ45 patch network cables and create a longer patch cable.
  • question: Does the keystone coupler provide shielded connections?

répondre: Yes, it is shielded for better protection against interference.
  • question: Is there customer support available for this product?

répondre: Yes, Monoprice has a team of friendly and knowledgeable technicians available for support.
  • question: Do these support POE?

répondre: Yes, these will pass on a POE signal!
  • question: Which punchdown tool do these accept? 110, Krone or both?

répondre: There’s no punch down, it’s a coupler, you plug the RJ45 on both sides
  • question: Will this work to terminate/ground Cat7?

répondre: It will technically work, but it won’t meet the CAT7 spec.
  • question: Is this a single keystone or a multipack?

répondre: It is a single keystone, not a multipack.
  • question: Will the support 10G speeds if two certified cat6a cables are connected?

répondre: The CAT6a spec calls for supporting 10 gig speed, so it should work. I have installed these and am only using them for devices with 1 gig speeds. Anything I’ve done cooper 10 gig in the past I’ve always used CAT7 and not CAT6a.
  • question: Do these fit in a keystone panel side by side?

répondre: They will fit in a patch panel or wall plate side by side without issue.
