AJT DESIGN Knobs Editorial Review
In evaluating the knobs designed for the 2024 Runner, customer experiences are mixed, revealing both significant appreciation and notable criticism. Many customers commend the ease of installation, praising how simply they pop into place without the need for adhesive. The aesthetic appeal of the blacked-out design is frequently highlighted, noting that they provide an attractive upgrade over the original chrome knobs. The inclusion of extra parts is also appreciated, as the small screws could easily be misplaced during installation. However, the quality of the product has drawn some skepticism. While several users find the knobs satisfactory for casual use, others argue that they don't match the sturdiness and feel of the OEM (original equipment manufacturer) knobs, which are seen as more robust and durable. Particularly, the fit of the middle AC knob has been criticized for feeling loose compared to the stable fit of the outer knobs. Furthermore, some customers express concerns about the value justification, citing a preference for investing in OEM parts instead, especially if they desire high-quality components. This product thus garners a range of opinions, appealing to those looking for a cost-effective and visually appealing alternative, while also leaving some customers longing for the better durability and quality of the original knobs. **
