With a fun lemony tang that's described as delightful yet understated, these cookies offer a refreshing alternative to overly sweet snacks. Customers appreciate the cookies’ crispy texture and distinct animal shapes, making them visually appealing not just to children but also to adults seeking a whimsical treat from their own childhood. While many reviews highlight the cookies as a fantastic treat for both grandkids and grandparents alike, some buyers have expressed concern over the use of hydrogenated oils in the ingredients and the slight divergence in flavor from the animal cookies they remember. Despite this, the cookies are Consistently praised for being a great value, especially when purchased in bulk, making them an appealing option for budget-Conscious snackers. In summary, although these cookies may not perfectly replicate the nostalgic taste of traditional animal crackers, they still deliver a pleasant snacking experience with their crunchy texture and a hint of lemon. The overall reception indicates that they serve well as a light snack or treat, leading many to Consider them a staple in their pantry.
