HP 405U3B#629 Editorial Review
The HP OfficeJet Pro 8122e Multifunction Printer has garnered a mix of feedback from its users. On one hand, some customers appreciate the printer's overall functionality and print quality, highlighting its ability to produce excellent duplex prints and scans, making it suitable for various tasks from document printing to creating custom stationery. For these users, the installation process proceeded smoothly once they utilized the provided QR code, bypassing some of the troubles reported by others regarding HP's mobile app and online setup. On the other hand, numerous users have expressed frustration with the installation and reliability of the printer. Complaints range from complicated initial setups necessitating multiple attempts to functionality issues following firmware updates. Some users experienced significant issues with customer service as well. The initial ink cartridges also drew critique as they seemed to run out relatively quickly, pushing users towards HP's Instant Ink subscription service, which not everyone favors due to concerns over dependence on proprietary supplies. The printer does incorporate useful features such as Wi-Fi, Ethernet connectivity, and compatibility with HP's printing apps, but for some, these advantages are mitigated by the obstacles encountered during setup and subsequent support issues. Overall, while the HP OfficeJet Pro 8122e offers impressive performance and prints, particularly when set up correctly, customer satisfaction appears significantly influenced by the user’s experience with installation and ongoing support. **
