TOHOTAIYO Standard Refrigerators TH-138L2BK Editorial Review
The TH-138L2BK 2-Door Freezer has garnered a mixed but mostly positive reception among customers, primarily due to its versatility and performance. Many users appreciate the unique feature of interchangeable door openings, allowing for flexibility in placement that caters to various kitchen layouts. This design aspect has received accolades as a significant enhancement to user convenience. Functionality-wise, the freezer has proven to deliver satisfactory cooling performance, with users noting that it achieves desired temperatures efficiently. Though there were minor complaints regarding noise, particularly during compressor activation, most customers report that the sound levels become negligible shortly after. In fact, many found that typical household noise—like that from a fan—was louder than the freezer itself. This speaks to its suitability for smaller living spaces, like studio apartments where silence is often paramount. However, several customers noted installation challenges, particularly regarding the door swap process. While some found it straightforward, others encountered difficulties, especially when dealing with screws that were either poorly placed or required additional drilling. A few users reported cosmetic issues, such as dents and scratches on the unit upon arrival, which detracted from their overall satisfaction. Despite these minor inconveniences, customers are largely enthusiastic about the product's value for the price. Many users feel reassured by its performance compared to other lower-priced options, particularly after experiencing dissatisfaction with previous models. Overall, the TH-138L2BK is regarded as a reliable option for those in search of a budget-friendly freezer that combines aesthetic appeal with practical functionality. **
